What are cookies?
SPOT Maintenance is operated by Applied Autonetics Inc. ("we", "us", or "our").
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to remember your preferences between visits. SPOT Maintenance uses only cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the service or to provide a specific feature you have chosen to use. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.
Types of cookies we use
These cookies are essential for the website to function. The site cannot work properly without them. Strictly necessary cookies are always enabled.
These cookies enable enhanced features you have actively chosen, such as remembering your device after completing security verification. You can decline them without losing core functionality.
We do not use cookies for cross-site tracking, behavioral profiling, or advertising purposes.
Cookies we set

Functional | 30 days | Set only if you tick "Remember this device for 30 days" after completing multi-factor authentication. The token in the cookie name is an opaque security value and does not reveal your user ID. This cookie allows you to skip the verification code on subsequent logins from the same browser. If you do not tick this option, this cookie is never set. |
Both cookies are marked Secure, HttpOnly (cannot be read by JavaScript), and SameSite=Lax (not sent with cross-site requests). These flags significantly reduce the risk of cookie theft.
Third-party cookies
We do not load any third-party advertising networks, social media widgets, or analytics scripts that would set cookies in your browser. The only external scripts loaded are:
- Bootstrap CSS/JS (cdn.jsdelivr.net) — no cookies set
- Font Awesome icons (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) — no cookies set
- Stripe.js (js.stripe.com, only on billing pages) — Stripe may set cookies necessary for fraud prevention and payment processing; see Stripe's cookie policy
Local storage
In addition to cookies, the application uses your browser's localStorage for one item:
spot_cookie_notice_dismissed— records that you have dismissed the cookie notice banner so it is not shown again. This is stored locally in your browser, contains no personal data, and is never sent to our servers.
How to manage or delete cookies
You can view, manage, and delete cookies through your browser's settings. Because all cookies we set are essential or tied to features you have actively enabled, deleting them will:
- Session cookie — sign you out immediately
- MFA remember-device cookie — require you to complete the verification code on your next login
